Wesley M. Adkins

Community Leader to Capitol Advocate

Born and raised in the Upper Cumberland, Wesley Adkins is a multi-talented individual whose passion for serving others shines through in every aspect of his life. He has excelled as an Affiliate Broker and Principal Auctioneer with Highlands Elite Real Estate, where he finds immense joy in helping others achieve the dream of home ownership. In addition to those endeavors, Wesley holds the role of Operating Partner at Panera Bread’s Cookeville location. Here, he oversees operations and plays a pivotal role in training managers and executives new to the Panera brand from across the southeast. With a diverse background that includes experience in the dental field, property management, and the restaurant industry, Wesley understands the importance of building meaningful and lasting relationships.

Outside of work, Wesley remains deeply involved in his community. He is an active advocate in the Ambassador Program for the Cookeville-Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and supports various charitable organizations, including the Putnam County Fair, Upper Cumberland Pride and Habitat for Humanity.

Raised on a working tobacco and cattle farm in the Spring Creek area, Wesley comes from a long line of community leaders and entrepreneurs. His family's legacy of public service, including his father and grandfather's combined 20 plus years as County Commissioner for the 12th district, instilled in him a strong sense of civic duty and responsibility.

Wesley cherishes his roots and is proud to call the Upper Cumberland home. Alongside his partner, Benjamin Gamby, he resides in the same area that his family has farmed for generations, surrounded by their beloved animals.

In all aspects of his life, Wesley exemplifies integrity, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on those around him. Whether through his work or by giving back to his community, Wesley's dedication to service remains unwavering.
